Chinese remanufacturer Aster Technology has announced the appointment of Gianluca Traficante as European Business Development Manager for the EMEA market. Traficante has 11 years of experience in the remanufacturing industry and will join the sales team based in Venlo, The Netherlands.

Director of Sales Andy Yue commented on the appointment, stating: “Gianluca is an additional value to our sales force. He understands the technical differences within similar products and has a deep understanding of business models and ability to manage different channels. We are delighted to have him with us.”

Traficante added: “I am very excited about joining the Aster Holland team. I look forward to working for a worldwide leader whose goal is to provide its customers with the best possible products and level of customer service available.”

Aster previously announced the expansion of its Jiangxi production plant in early January, in expectation of increased sales demand in 2012.
